Is there really a free plan?
Yes. The Starter plan is free with no time limit and no credit card required. It supports 1 user and up to 3 managed devices, which is enough to evaluate Ambient fully before committing to a paid plan. When you're ready to roll out to your team, upgrading takes seconds.
How does the free trial work for paid plans?
Team and Business plans include a 14-day free trial with full access to all features. No credit card is required to start. At the end of the trial, choose to subscribe or your account reverts to the free Starter tier.
Can I switch plans later?
Yes. You can upgrade or downgrade your plan at any time from your account settings. Upgrades take effect immediately; downgrades apply at the end of your current billing period.
What counts as a user or a device?
A user is any person with an active Ambient account in your workspace. A managed device is any endpoint (Windows or Linux desktop) running the Ambient Agent. You can see your usage at any time from the billing section of the Command Center.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Amex). Annual contracts can also be paid via bank transfer or ACH. Enterprise customers can arrange purchase orders and invoiced billing.
Do you offer annual billing?
Yes. Annual billing is available with flexible commercial terms. Contact our team for current options.
Is there a setup fee?
No setup fees on standard plans. Enterprise engagements may optionally include professional onboarding services, scoped separately.
What happens to my data if I cancel?
You can export all your content, signatures, and analytics at any time. If you cancel a paid plan, your workspace reverts to the free Starter tier and your data remains available. Accounts that are fully closed have data retained for 30 days before permanent deletion, in line with our retention policy.
